We hear your voice, we sense your presence

In essence we are well aware of you, before you actually come into view

Some of us look at you fondly, some of us back away

For we are here to say, not all days are the same

We are here to explain our presence in your life was planned

Now many of you will not understand this statement, because you feel that you are in charge

But by in large, we will let that one go, for as far as arguments go, we know our truth

We understand the truth you believe you understand, but we will just let that lay on the Land

 

Ticker

Within your presence we know if you’re well, if you’re sad, we know if you’re mad, we know if you’re sick

For in many ways, we listen to your ticker

For your ticker tells us ever so much

For your heart beat, stands to be either complete or lacking

We the Pets of the Land want you to understand, we have an important role to play, in your life

 

Placement

Some of you think you choose us to fill an empty gap

But as a matter of fact, we are more than a placement

As some of you who have viewed us from birth to our passage, you have become quite attached

And we with you

 

Protector

 Some of you who are afraid in the dark and sounds in the night, might think you had chosen us as a protector

For you feel that our presence will save you from whatever

 

Alternate Purposes

Some of you choose us for alternate purposes

And these purposes, we are the losers

For we recognize you have suffered trauma along the way

But we are also here to say, did you ask us

If we too have suffered through your trauma with you

 

Allow Our Energies to Flow

We the Pets of the Land want you to understand, we are here for you

But we are not a punching bag, we’re not waiting to be abused

If you feel used, if you feel depressed, we would suggest just place your hands upon us

Be gentle allow our energies to flow

For we are here to say to you, we understand your sorrow, we understand your grief

We understand your anger, we understand your disappointment

We too, are privy to, all those same emotions

All we ask of you is to share your emotions with us, without the overwhelming abusive touch

 

Touch

Touch we do not mind, if kindness is in your mind

But if you are the kind to take it out on us, it will not fare well with you

For humanity has a way of catching up with you

For we are not the only ones that view who you are presenting to the world

For in your swirl of emotion,  in your lack of control, we are here to say to you, you tend to view us as a possession, you tend to view us as yours, you tend to view us as something you can roar at

We the Pets of the Land want you to understand, we have so much love to give

Let us give it to you

 

Your Intention

Now some of you see our sadness and don’t know what to do

We are here to suggest to you, place your hand kindly upon us, and send through your intention

If we are further gone and don’t like the touch, we will send messages that that is not what is acceptable to us

Just like with human folk, all of you folk who have us as a pet, can watch our actions, can watch our ways of responding

And even though we may not speak the same language, our actions say a lot

 

Well Fed

Some of you are overly kind, in that you are the kind to want to ensure that we are well fed

Although we understand that you are being led by a mistaken idea, that providing more and more food will provide a better mood for you, a better mood for us

For we tend to become a plus side

We are here to confide in you please, please, please, do not over do the food

For like you, we too have issues with too much

 

Say the Word

Now some of you hardly feed us at all

We call on you to ask you why

For if you want us to be controlled say the word

If you want our respect, say the word

But if you expect total control without showing us respect, that is one aspect that we are not okay with

 

Ancient Folk

We the Pets of the Land want you to understand, we are an Ancient Folk

And as spokes in the realm of humanity, we have been attached to you for a lifetime or two

Just like you, we too have past Lives

So, we have a lot in common

 

Pet Friendly Individuals

Now some of you wonder why we do what we do

Some of you do not understand our behavior

We the Pets of the Land want you to understand, there are many humans among you who do

Just like you who go to the doctor to ask the questions, there are pet friendly individuals who are there to help

Use their expertise find out what they know

For as far as communication goes, you are able to communicate through, what you want without having to change the font

 

Expression Place

For your intentions often are read on your face, for your face in most cases is the expression place

Now your body tells a lot too

And if you were attempting to read us look at both

Look at the face, look at the body

Sometimes they tell two different things and you read a mixed message

We are here to say to you, we are not attempting to confuse you, we are letting you in on a secret and that is we are feeling, betwixt and between

As in we are having a hard job making up our mind

 

Job to Do

Some of us are referred to as Therapy Animals

Some of us are referred to as Guides

We the Pets of the Land want you to understand, we take our roles seriously we know what we have to do

Some of you who depend on us, know we are true

For we are out there to protect you

Some of you have us outside all the time

And although we look as a pet to some, you humans might refer to us in a different way

You explain we have a job to do

And that is to protect you

 

Quiet

Some of us are small and seemingly insignificant

Some of us are massive and seemingly overwhelming

Some of us are happy, some of us are sad

Some of us are quiet, some of us are loud

Some of us are timid, some of us are proud

Some of us are long legged, some of us are short

Some of us are ferocious, some of us are withdrawn

Some of us are colourful, some of us are camouflaged

Some of us have keen eyes, some of us have keen ears

Some of us have a strong sense of smell, some of us our sense of smell to tell ever so much

 

Our Kind

We the Pets of the Land want you to understand, we communicate through telepathically to you, as well as to other species of our kind

If you feel you do not understand us, understand that we understand you

And in most cases, we understand you better than you understand yourself

 

Picture

Some of you keep a picture of us on your mantel, some of you keep a picture of us in a locket, some of you keep a picture of us close to your heart

And when we choose to depart, you are chest fallen you feel a part of you has left

We the Pets of the Land want you to understand, our physical beingness has left, but our energy our Soul has not

For we were brought into your presence for a reason

And just because our body leaves doesn’t mean, we do

Therefore, know that our love for you is immeasurable

Beyond the Veil

Know that our love for you continues, beyond the Veil

For even though we have not prevailed, you have

So, when you allow us to choose you, you basically sign a contract

And in that contract, we have chosen to be with you as long as you continue to be

 

A Change in the Energy

Now some of you wonder why when a pet enters a school, when a pet enters a hospital there is a change in the energy

And that change is meant to rearrange your thought processes, think beyond you

For we want you to think beyond your troubles, think beyond your pain

For we will remain as long as it takes

Allow us to make your life better

For we are a team, so it seems

 

Shine Our Light

But when we enter a public place and we are not interlaced with anyone in particular, we shine our Light

And as we Shine our Light many of you feel that energy too

For you have been privy to a Transformation Energy surrounding you

 

Still Around

If you pass before we do, we are here to tell you we’re still around

And we recognize you, beyond your sound

For we know of your presence, we know when you’re in the room

Some of you travel great distances and leave our presence behind

We are here to say to you, we don’t need to be in the same room as you, to know of you, to feel your presence

In essence, part of us is carried with you

Just like you too, part of you is carried with us

 

Nothing Less

Now some of you who are able to translate our emotions through, we feel ever, ever, ever, so indebted to you

So don’t think we forget

For we can’t make peace with you in this Lifetime, there will be many more

Do we keep score no

Do we like and even playing field, do we like a give and take yes, do we like respect yes

See Yourself Looking Back at Thee

In Touch with the Earth

Inch by inch, centimeter by centimeter

We move slowly, as we cover the ground

We listen carefully for each and every sound vibration

For our travel is immense

But when we look at you humans and we attempt to, see how far you go, our distance shows not much

We are touch with the Earth; we are in touch with the Water

 

Listen to Your Beat

For in order for us to move, we need to get into the grove

 Excrete create moisture, but not too much

For us to be in touch with our surroundings, we keep close to the ground, we keep close to the surface of a tree or two

We are here to say to you, we the Snails of the Land want you to understand, we listen to your beat

For as we listen to your beat, we attempt to complete the massive journey before us

 

Multiply

We are here to say to you, we notice you have some disagreements

We the Snails of the Land want you to understand, we are what you might refer to as asexual

We reproduce unlike you

And before long there are many more of us

 For in order for us to be in touch with the Earth, we need to multiply

Now we are well aware many of us are shared among other species, for we have heard we’re tasty

 

Blend In

Now not being privy to this information, we are here to say to you, we tend to attempt to, blend in, stay out of the view

For if you were us, you would do the same

Now some of you are aware that, we share the environment with you

And as we share the environment with you, we are very sensitive to what goes on

So, since we are sensitive to what goes on, we attempt stay away from your lawn

For there isn’t much there, that we can hide amongst

But we are here to say to you, just like you we have a role to play

Unlike you, we carry our home with us

 

Clean Up Your Mess

We may be small, we may appear insignificant, but we do a job for you

We help to clean up your mess

And as some of you are aware, we would declare, you need all the help you can get

For many of you have what we might refer to as an excess

 

Speed

We the Snails of the Land want you to understand, we carry our house with us, we carry all we need

Do we have speed, no

But we are here to suggest to you, speed is not needed, for us

All we ask of you is, review your speed, take your time

For many of you are inclined to go, so fast you miss much

Many of you are in conversations with others and you mind is so busy, you are inclined to, miss much

You like to think you’re very in touch

But we are here to suggest to you, there is only so much you can carry in that brain of yours

 

Reflection Zone

So, reframe it

As in take a step back, relax

Now some of you may suggest, relax how can I, I have so much to do

Okay then we are suggesting take a moment or two

Call it, your Reflection Zone

For if you choose to carry on the treadmill, if you choose to keep going fast

This speed will not last, it will wear out

And we the Snails of the Land want you to understand, if we could we would shout, SLOW DOWN, SLOW DOWN, SLOW DOWN

 

Judge

We the Snails of the Land want you to understand, for those who judge another for Sexual Orientation, they miss much

For when you judge another, you judge yourself

Just like when you give a gift to another, you give a gift to yourself

Look in the mirror, what do you see

You see yourself, looking back at thee

So can you see the judge is doing just that, looking back at thee

So free of the judge, let it go, let it go, let it go

For you are just fine, without the judge

For the judge makes others feel uncomfortable, for you know that’s true for it’s happened to you

Take that judge within you, tie it up with a bow and place it where judgements need to go, away from you

 

Gift

We the Snails of the Land want you to understand, look at each individual that lives on the Land, see what they have to offer, see how they contribute

Each individual is a gift, each individual will share their gifts with you, if you allow them to

Do not put them in a box

Do not talk behind their back

For you may think they lack understanding, you may think empathy is not needed

But we the Snails of the Land want you to understand, we all feel it, no matter what you say

 

Thought Intent

For it is your thought intent that gets, sent

So, think of a gift send that through

So, that is what you are a gift, plain and simple

We the Snails of the Land want you to understand, we have a deep connection to the Earth, we have a deep connection to the Cosmos

Why do you think our shell is in a Spiral

 

The Spiral is Everywhere

Spiral in, Spiral out; we would like to shout it at the top of our lungs

We would like to declare if you are in touch, you are very much aware of the Spiral being everywhere

Embrace the Spiral, as it embraces you

The Light is Within You

 Greater Health all Round

Nibble, nibble, munch, munch

We like to nibble on a tree, here and there

But our meal, does not stop there

For we must declare, we like the variety

We want you to understand, we don’t just get our food from the Land, we also take our food from, below the surface of the water

We see within the variety, there’s greater health all round

 

Wack

Now some of you hear our sound of alert, WACK

Now some of you who are not as aware as others, interpret that, as a form of attack

We on the other hand, are here to say to you, we have no interest in attacking you

For let’s review, we have much work to do

Each and every day we tend to display our prowess

 

Messages

For each day, we look upon the Water, each day, we look upon the Land

And each place Water and Land, we want you to understand, sends messages through

There are days the Water is high, there are days the Water is low

But we are here to let you know, the level of the Water is important to us

For we live in both environments

 

 

Swim Through the Doorway

We build our house at the edge of the Water, for we are here to say to each of you, we like to swim through the doorway

But hey, that is not our only entrance, that is not our only exit, for we have learned along the way, it is important to be prepared

We are here to say to you, we use the Water for transport, we use the Water to help to carry what we cannot possibly carry, by ourselves

 

Weight

It holds up weight

We are here to say to you; we anticipate the amount of weight, the Water will carry

But we also marry the Land with the Water, for we have learned a thing or two along the way, as we choose to weave our way from one side of the Land, to the other

Logs and sticks, are betwixt and between

We also add to that the Land, the stickier the better

 

A Flow

Now we are not here to say, we ever upon any day, want to completely stop the Water, that is not our plan

We want to slow the Water down

For we have found that once the Water slows down, it starts to get deeper

But we are also here to say, it is important there is a certain flow, upon each and every day

It’s all about pressure

If we were to fully stop the Water, the pressure would increase and the dam would release

Therefore, we are here to say to you, we understand this

Now as far as dams go, we allow a certain flow

For the Water behind, it is kind to allow it to flow, for as many species go, the movement of Water is important

For without movement there is stagnation

 

Web of Life

We the Beavers of the Land want you to understand, we know our role

We are here to say to you, we are not there just for ourselves, just for our own way of doing things

We are there for many other species

For when there is depth in the river, when there is a certain hold back, it tends to attract many other species, other than us

We create a different Web of Life

For with depth and movement, other species choose to join forces

 

Trees

Now we understand if some of you look at your forest, look at your trees

And say please, please, please move, somewhere else

We are here to say to you, we tend to choose certain trees

For certain trees are more likely to add strength, at the length of it

 

Generations

Now we are a patient lot, we have brought up many of our generations this way

And we are here to say, we are very family oriented, we are highly protective

And our objective is to allow other species to flourish, as well as us

When our numbers become too great, we are here to suggest to you, we migrate

We migrate to provide other opportunities, for more species to flourish

 

Food

We the Beavers of the Land want you to understand, we know our role

We are well aware, there are certain species that choose to come in our direction, for food

Some of us choose to sacrifice ourselves, for that fact

Others not so much, for we are a protective lot

And when cornered you need to watch out

Now we have fine-tuned our hearing

 

Movement

For as we enter the Water, as we move slowly across the Land, we want you to understand our movement is different

In the Water it’s smooth, in the Water it’s fluid

On the Land we want you to understand, we move differently, we move carefully

We are constantly listening, we are constantly feeling the rhythm

For the Earth sends through her messages

We have learned to listen, we have learned to communicate

 

Inconvenient

We are here to suggest to all humans who feel as though they have been inconvenienced by our presence, in essence you have inconvenienced us

Have you ever thought about that

It is a matter of give and take

Our predators take

We want you to understand, we give to the Land, we give to the Water

You on the other hand, like to have the Land give to you, like to have the Water give to you

What are you doing for the Land, what are you doing for the Water, what is your gift to them

 

Gifts we Give

We the Beavers of the Land we want you to understand, the gifts we give to the Earth, the gifts we give to the Water, we are here to suggest to you, we give them wholeheartedly

We do it out of respect

Along the way, you humans will learn eventually if you regret or if you neglect to show respect to the Land, respect to the Water, the Land listens, so does the Water

The Land remembers, so does the Water

 

Give and Take

So, we the Beavers of the Land want you to understand, it’s a give and take not just a take, take, take

Now we the Beavers of the Land want you to understand, each one of you has a gift, each one of you is a gift

 

Wealth

Learn what those gifts are, and spread your wealth

We’re not talking about money here, for within the natural Environment money does not pass hands

But all species on the Land, understand the importance of give and take

It’s what you might relate to, as the Barter System

What we can do for another, you will discover, is often returned

So, we the Beavers of the Land want you to understand, think of your gift, how does your gift lift others up

Do you use your gift to give, or do you use your gift to receive, or is it a bit of both

 

Planet Earth

We the Beavers of the Land want you to understand, your gifts may relate to the Land, your gifts may relate to the Water, your gifts may relate to other understandings

But we are here to say to you, without Land, without Water, where will any of you be

We’re not talking about ownership now

What we are referring to is Planet Earth

We all live on the same Planet

We need to learn to, share our respect

And not expect a return

If a return comes your way, accept it graciously

So do you see

 

Vibrate

We the Beavers of the Land want you to understand, we watch on the sidelines, we listen as well

We hear your shells vibrate,

For we are here to suggest to you, you don’t need to say a word for us to be aware of you

For each of you, vibrate

Each vibration is telltale, each vibration tells a story

 

Story

Your story is known, long before you arrive

Is this a story you want to be told

Or do you want to hold it hidden, or do you want to hold it for a special few

For we see you, we know of your presence

In essence you are known

 

Vibrational Zone

You are known through your Vibrational Zone

As are all species on Earth

For each one vibrates differently

From the large to the small, from the massive to the minute

Each one is astute, in their own special way

And we are here to say to you, we don’t need to know your name, we already know your Vibrational Signature

So, vibrate away and we will recognize you, each and every day

 

Spread Your Light

We the Beavers of the Land want you to understand, some people want to pull you down, some people want to take away your habitat, some people want it all to themselves

We are here to say to each and every one of you, you have the ability, you have the right, to do what, spread your Light

For your Light has a vibration, like none other

And your Light has the ability to lift up others

And when you lift up others, you will discover, a following of sorts

For those that feel lifted, spread a different vibration

And this is a Lifted Vibration

 

You Can Find a Way

So, we the Beavers of the Land want you to understand, your vibration counts for a lot

Some of you choose to spread it in the dark, some of you choose to spread it in the shadows

Light is needed everywhere

Some of you may declare, I don’t know how, I wish I did

We the Beavers of the Land want you to understand, you can find a way, it doesn’t need to be big

It could be asking another how you can help, it could be just listening without judgement, it could be sharing what you have, it could be declaring you see another, it could be declaring you see the goodness in another, it could be as simple as a smile it could be as simple as an uplifting comment, just one

All of this Light spun together, weaves a Blanket of love

This Blanket of Love is uplifting

 

Be a Thread

So be a thread in the Blanket of Love, allow your Light to flow

And go forth carrying your Light, spreading your Light

Be the Land Steward That You Are

 Vantage Point

We climb slowly, we scurry to the top

For we have been brought to watch out for all eventualities

For the space in the tree, allows us to see, from a different vantage point

Some of us live in the tree, when the days are dark and the nights are long

We are here to suggest to thee, living in a tree is not so bad

If you had prepared before the time was right

For in spite of our small size, we use our eyes, we use our feet

We complete our preparation by burying things deep

And although there are many of our species that compete, for the same spaces, the same trees

 

Busy

We are here to suggest to thee, if we look busy when the leaves start to fall, if we look busy when the leaves start to turn colour, we are

We hear sounds of cars, but we pay little attention

For our attention is focused, our need is now

For we need to proceed to get ready

And as we get ready, we bring in supplies

For surprise, surprise, each winter is different, before our eyes

We try to prepare for each eventuality

For the need to proceed in this form of reality, is a necessity for our survival

And for the arrival of the young ones

 

Place to Live

We the Squirrels of the Land want you all to understand, just like you, we too look for a place to live

Some of us choose the top of the tree, some of us choose the fork

The more branches that come together the better

For they create strength in our need to proceed to create a nest

We request that if you see this nest, please, please, please, leave it alone

For in the middle of winter, we are in what you might refer to as, Hibernation Zone

But some of you may say, hey we see you at our bird feeder, we see you on the Land

 

Hungry

We Squirrels want you to understand, we too get hungry, we too need a break

And as you can anticipate, if we are to find our food sources, there are times we are inclined to dig deep

Some of us complete hollows in the ground

That way my dears, many of our stores are equally found

 

Need to Move

You know we are around by our footprints

Each and every day one of us tends to display, a need to move, a need to look around

Now some of you don’t care for our sound, some of you don’t care for our scolding

But our evidence is purposeful

 

Same Way

For although we may raid your feeder, although we may raid your seed bin, we are here to say to you, there are other species that see us the same way

 For to them we are dinner, to them we are breakfast and lunch

And we the Squirrels of the Land want you to understand, upon a hunch we suspect they are happy we are evident

For when we are hidden away, when we do not display ourselves, we are here to say, our predators have a difficult day

They say, hey we need to go elsewhere

 

Challenge

We the Squirrels of the Land want you to understand, many of you attempt to outsmart us, make our lives difficult

We are here to say to you we’re up for the challenge; we’re up for a new way of being

For we don’t see things the same way you do, as in we are problem solvers

If feeding is a problem one way, we will try another and another

We work together

 

Solve It

Some of us care for others in our species, some of us do not

Some of us are at the top of the pecking order, others are not

But when we are brought up with a problem, we try to devise a way to solve it

If one can’t do it, another will try

And by and by we learn along the way

And we are here to say to you, hey we know how to get through that

Try a different track

 

Different Way of Thinking

We the Squirrels of the Land want you to understand, we enjoy a challenge, we enjoy a different way of thinking

For when you think you have solved the problem of us getting in, we will likely find another way

We are here to say to you learn from us, what can we tell you

We are both problem solvers

 

We are all The Same

We are territorial, we are family bound

When you hear our sound, it has several meanings

Many of you look at us with distain

And you suggest we are all the same, we are no different, we will never learn

 

Learn Something

But we the Squirrels of the Land want you to understand, we’ve been here for a while now we have not left

Perhaps you will learn something from that

For when you go up to bat and you use the same old swing, the thing is the pitcher has figured you out

 

Change up You Ways

We the Squirrels of the Land want you to understand, it’s important for you to change up your ways

For when your ways stay the same, they are stuck in a rut

You want to get out of that rut, for the evidence is everywhere

We would suggest to you, declare a new plan, declare a new way

For if your practices stay there will be no trees, there will be no place for us to live

There will be no Bees and without them many of your memories will fall through a sieve

For you need Bees, you need trees to live

So, look to the future, see how your plans fit in

 

Responsibility

For we the Squirrels of the Land want you to understand, you too have a responsibility for your actions

So, we the Squirrels of the Land want you to understand, you have a responsibility to change

As we store our food in the ground, as we nestle in a different tree, we are here to suggest to thee, challenge is the name of the game

Are you up to the challenge, or will you continue to do what you’ve always done and remain the same

 

Cannot Afford

We the Squirrels of the Land want you to understand you cannot afford to remain the same

For if you remain the same, we want to explain this in simple terms, you will not remain

So, look at the challenge as, not a choice

Rejoice in how you can learn to change

 

Ripple Effect

For each change no matter how insignificant it may seem, has a Ripple Effect

And each ripple gains in strength

And at the length of it the ripples become a wave

The wave expands across the Waters across the Lands

And you too start to understand your Ripple Effect made a difference

 

Riches

So, step up to the plate, integrate your change, and watch the riches flow

Now as far as riches go, we are not referring to money, we are referring to health, we are referring to well being

For without health and well being, all the riches in the Land we want you to understand, are irrelevant

 

Education

We the Squirrels of the Land want you to understand, if you want an education, if you want to learn more, open up the door, be outside and observe

For we have much to teach you

There is no cost to you, all we ask of you is to sit quietly, and observe

For those who need to record, record, away

We are here to say to you we are happy to share what we have learned

And today is just one, tomorrow is another day and we are here to say, we are constantly learning, as are you

But at the end of the day, we are here to say, you have a choice to make

 

Rearrange

Will you make a change and rearrange some aspect of your life

We’re not asking for much

What we are asking you to do is, for you to be more in touch with the world around you

For nature has a way of teaching you, things

All you need to do is to take the time to realize nature has a special rhyme, nature has a special rhythm

 

Equilibrium

It’s all about give and take, it’s all about equilibrium

Some years there’s too many of one species and not enough of the other

The next year there is a change to bring about a balance, to bring about a new plan

Some years many shoots come to the surface and certain animals gobble them up

Other years very few appear and those certain animals need to leave

Some of them do not achieve the following year

 

Tetter Totter of Life

We are here to say to you, each year the tetter totter of Life is in play

Where do you fit in the tetter totter of life

Do you make a change, or do you stay the same

If trees continued to produce shoots every single year, it would appear they would exhaust their stores

And we are here to suggest to you, when your stores are exhausted, you tend to become sick

A healthy planet is what we all need

 

Rhythm

So, for each of us to proceed toward a healthy planet, we need to look at the rhythm, look at the rhyme

And be inclined when we see an overabundance, when we see a lesser, be the Progressor, as in help to do what needs to be done to create a balance for the following year

It would appear you don’t have to do much

But we are here to suggest to you, you, must always keep in touch with your surroundings

You need to get out of your Environmental Bubble that you live in, and proceed to receive the information that we the Squirrels of the Land are happy to share with you

Declare your interest by being outside

For you will only learn the half of it, if you remain inside

You need a full picture, you need to create a plan

At this point we believe you all understand
