Talk About You
The Crows of the Land want you to understand, we see many of
you, and you see many of us
Some of you would say that’s a plus, some of you would see differently
We the Crows of the Land want you to understand, we talk
among ourselves and we talk about you
But so that you do not come through as the only part of our
conversation, we are here to say many a day your name does not come up
We Know You’re There
But then again, we try to send messages through to you
Now for those of you who listen, for those of you who
watch
We see you; we know you’re there
And we are there too, in your vicinity, close by
For we spy an interest, we spy an exploratory note
We see that you devote some attention to us
And that for us is a plus
Our Advantage
Now some of you may have noticed our calls are not the
same
For we like you, attempt to mimic others
It’s not that we want to be like the other, not at all
We understand their calls, we understand their rhythm
And therefore, my dears let’s be clear, we use those
calls to our advantage
Noticed
And for those of you who are listening and look our way, we
are here to say we’re glad you noticed, we’re glad you care
For we swoop up into the air, we descend in groups
And when we want to get your attention, we sometimes swoop,
we sometimes stand in circles in the middle of the road
If you strode there once before, we see a pattern, we see
your way
And we are more likely to stay put
For we have learned along the way, many of your ways,
many of your patterns
And with this knowledge and with this ability, it creates
stability in our numbers
For as we get to know you, we get to see what you’re all
about
Look for the Meaning
Some of you shout, some of you whistle, some of you sing,
some of you are quiet, some of you are soft spoken, some of you like to place
your bare feet on the ground and listen to the sound of Mother Earth, some of
you like to raise your hands in the air and declare I am alive, I’m feeling
well
Some of you dwell in your misfortunes
Some of you take the same path each and every day
And we are here to say, we are thankful for that
For we know where to find you
Now some of you are erratic, some of you change your path
And for those of you who have that view, we are here to say
to you, we study you intently, we look for the meaning
For although you are erratic, although you change your ways,
there too is a pattern
Teach Us
Now some of you see us fly singularly, and some of
see us fly in a massive group
We are here to say to you, many of the same things that
affect you, affect us as well
That is why we shall always watch you
For you have so much to teach us
Share
There are days we are noisy, there are days we are quiet
And then again there are days we are contemplative, we
watch your every move
And then we share
We share that we declare, we know something new
Something we’re will to share about you, for as one of the
Feathered Ones, we share among our species and beyond
For we have learned long ago, with the way things go, the
more we know about you, the better
Dreams
We see thee beyond our eyes
But this should come as no surprise, for some of you see
us in your dreams
And some of you it seems, dream with your eyes open
Tag Team
Some you believe when you see us, it is an Omen
We the Crows of the Land want you to understand, we are not
an Omen, not at all
Our calls are purposeful
We sometimes warn other species, that something is coming
For we’re kind of like a Tag Team, tit for tat
For when we work together, we all eat, when work together,
we all survive
We are one of the hive species, as in there are often many
of us
We travel in groups, we have huge conferences
For it is within these conferences that we share
We declare to each other, I found out something new
Can I share it with you
